See the 20 best-selling motorcycles in Brazil in May 2025
The motorcycle market in Brazil continues to boom, registering significant growth in May and boosting the results of the automotive industry. Data from the National Federation of Motor Vehicle Distribution (Fenabrave) reveals that 193,350 motorcycles were registered in the month, an increase of 17.55% compared to May 2024. The result also represents an increase of 5.84% compared to April.
In the first five months of the yearthe two-wheeler segment grew by 10.80%, jumping from 767,079 to 849,946 motorcycles registered in Brazil.

Hot demand, tight credit: Consortium as an alternative
The sector's good performance is driven by growing demand for delivery services and search for more accessible transportation. However, the reduction in credit for financing has been a challenge.
Arcelio Junior, President of Fenabrave, explains the scenario: "With the increase in the Selic Rate, financing has become more difficult for most buyers of motorcycles between 100 and 250 bhp, which make up more than 80% of the two-wheeler market. As a result, the consortium has been the best alternative, especially for the North and Northeast regions of the country".
