Honda NX 500 2026 officially debuts in Brazil for R$ 45,800

The NX 500 2026 is another of the new features officially launched in Brazil by Honda during the Interlagos Festival.
Confirmed by the brand at the beginning of the year, the crossover will replace the CB 500X, launched in 2014. It debuts here with a renewed look and new technologies.

Engine and traction control
Just like CB 500 HornetThe new Honda NX 500 2026 has also retained the 471 cm³ twin-cylinder engine from its predecessor. This engine delivers 49.6 hp of power at 8,500 rpm and 4.5 kgf.m of torque at 7,000 revolutions. It has a six-speed transmission and is managed by a slipper clutch.

One of the new features is the debut of the HSTC system - Honda Selectable Torque Control. It manages rear wheel traction, preventing loss of traction. The feature also acts on fuel injection to reduce torque if necessary. And if the rider wishes, it can also be deactivated completely.
Chassis and cycling
The Honda crossover uses a steel tube chassis and has a wheelbase of 1,443 mm. According to the manufacturer, the weight distribution between front and rear is 48.7% and 51.3%. The suspension, designed by Showa, features a 41 mm inverted front fork with the SFF-BP function, which separates the spring and damping between the forks. At the rear there is a Pro-Link system with five-stage preload adjustment.

The cast aluminum wheels with a Y-shaped design and 5 spokes are lighter and measure 19 inches at the front and 17 at the rear. They are fitted with tires measuring 110/80 and 160/60 respectively. The brakes have dual-channel ABS and use 296 mm discs at the front with two-piston Nissin calipers. At the rear, there is a 240 mm disc with single-piston calipers.
Design
According to Honda, the new NX 500 2026 has a look that blends adventurous style, compact dimensions and robustness. At the front, the new LED headlight stands out, offering good light distribution when riding, especially when cornering. The rear light is also LED and has been redesigned to make the bike's design more harmonious.
