SBM officially launched in Brazil; debut with six bikes

SBM (Shineray Brasil Motors) was officially launched on Wednesday (28) at a press preview at the Interlagos Festival. Shineray's new premium brand will focus on medium and high displacement models. Entry-level and low-cylinder models will continue to be offered under the Shineray brand.

According to Shineray do Brasil, the new line follows the same proposal as the brand, which is to offer motorcycles with a good cost-benefit ratio and high quality. First of all, 33 exclusive dealerships of the new brand will be opened throughout the country during the second half of the year, says the company.

The SBM stores will follow the new concept applied by Shineray in its dealerships, i.e. they will have to have a complete showroom structure, workshop and parts counter.

And to begin its activities in Brazil, SBM is betting on an initial line-up of six models. They are: 250R, 400, 600S, 600R, 600V and 600C1. All of them will arrive on the Brazilian market with a three-year warranty and are due to be launched in the second half of the year.

SBM 250R: This is a sports bike with a 249 cm³ single-cylinder engine, capable of delivering 27.8 hp at 9,500 rpm. According to the company, the bike has a bold design and performance for those who value sportiness combined with technology, offering dynamic and precise riding. The price starts at R$ 22,990.

SBM 400: The brand defines it as a naked bike with an aggressive look, designed for those looking for power and style in urban use and on short trips. It has a 400 cm³ twin-cylinder engine that produces 41.5 hp at 9,000 revolutions. It also has inverted front suspension and disc brakes on both wheels. It costs R$ 33,490.

SBM 600S: The big trail is ideal for long journeys, catering for those who want to explore different terrains in comfort, safety and robustness, says SBM. It has a two-cylinder in-line liquid-cooled engine with a capacity of 554 cm³, disc brakes with dual-channel ABS and Marzocchi front suspension. Finally, it arrives in Brazil for R$ 46,990.

SBM 600R: The SBM supersport bike has a four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 600 cm³. The brand points out that the model has an aerodynamic design and technical features that provide a unique riding and speed experience. In time: it is the most expensive model in the SBM portfolio, costing R$ 52,990.

SBM 600V: A custom with a traditional style, offering comfort for those who want to travel. It has a four-cylinder V-shaped engine with a capacity of 561 cm³, liquid-cooled and delivering 68 hp. The final drive, however, is by toothed belt, while the suspension is by Marzocchi, with an inverted telescopic fork at the front. It costs R$ 51,490.

SBM 600C1: Shineray Motors Brasil's most affordable custom, it has a distinctive finish and different ergonomics. It is powered by a 554 cm³ in-line twin-cylinder engine with liquid cooling. It has disc brakes with dual-channel ABS and a seat positioned 722 mm from the ground. It comes in at R$ 37,990.

BYTM Garage

Another novelty presented by Shineray at the Interlagos Festival is the BYTM Garage. In short, this is a division of the company that aims to create customized models of Shineray and SBM, providing a more exclusive experience for the brand's customers.

"Garagem is a new strategic arm, aligned with market trends and the lifestyle of Brazilian motorcyclists," the company said in a statement.
